But why then are you using sharethis also below your posts. Don’t you think it creates unnecessary clutter by using both the addthis and shrethis buttons.

This tool does look better than sharethis, there’s a lot more options for people to bookmark with. I also like that it opens in a new window, which helps keep the traffic at your site.

Thanks for the tip Susan, I’m giving it a go – its certainly tidied up my side bar and I’ll be interested to check the stats. Great blog btw -plain speak advice – awesome.

I’ve tried the ‘ShareThis’ Plugin before but it seems to redirect the reader away from the website instead of opening another window like AddThis does. I’m not aware of a bookmarking tracking tool for ShareThis, a feature option with AddThis.

i have use it before and i have removed it too..
using share this for now..
