Great Response So Far
This site launched on the 4th of July and has already grown much faster than I originally anticipated. I should slap myself on the hands but I haven’t had time to promote the site during the past two weeks. My daughter had a fever for most of last week and then broke out in a rash. I’m a new parent so I freak out about any little thing out of the norm for my 10 month old. Any new parents relate?
The first week showed some great promise as this site was posted as Hot Communities on MyBlogLog for 3 days in a row during its FIRST week!
Monday – June 9th: Only 5 days after the blog’s debut
I’m happy to see such quick results and only hope for the long term that the site can grow just as quickly. Although this site is too new to run iWebTool to predict its first Google PageRank, I did run it for one my other sites, Got2BeGreen, which is 2 months new and predicts the blog to go from “0″ to “4″ on the next update. Not too shabby for 2 months. Especially for a site I truly love to run and something I truly care and love doing.
Does this forecast things to come? Well I definitely hope it’s a positive sign for the future for this site and others.

As Will Ferrell said in Zoolander, you’re so hot right now and you don’t even know it!
yahoo. congrats susan.
Congrats Susan! Blogs are certainly fun to play around with. I’ve just started my first too! I don’t have any clue how to use mybloglog!
As for being a new parent, I’ve got 2 little ones right now — a 3 1/2yr old and a 4 month old. All I can say is that you will probably never start freaking out. As far as I know for myself I have not stopped! If the fever and rash are stable, than your little babies body is doing its job and getting stronger in the process.
I love that movie :)
Thank you so much.

wow, I thought I was doing with 7 subscribers ! well done Susan.
Congrats on the excellent work thus far Susan.
I’ve never had much luck with iwebtool. It worked for me one time and said it predicted me at a “5″ next go around but ever since then it just tells me not enough info or something to that effect.
How did you get listed in the MyBlogLog hot communities? People voting?
BTW: you’re in my reader now also! :)
Yes, I noticed that also. It was working when I wrote the post but recently it hasn’t….even when you plug in a website like, John Chow, it says the same thing: not enough backlinks, which HAS to be wrong. I think something is wrong with the site, and it just happened not too long ago…but thanks for the heads up.
Susan: Well, after I wrote that comment yesterday I went to iwebtool once again and it worked every time for every site I tried. Interestingly enough, my site prediction was a 5, so hopefully it’s somewhat accurate. :) Probably not though, I’ll probably get a 1 or something. lol
