It's too expensive to call everyone back to re-shoot. I sometimes notice the changes in shadows in cuts when the scene is outdoors, or bus changes ad, etc, etc, etc. It happens, and you and I couldn't do any better. A scene where Pitt is talking to cousin in a tent he has a goblet of wine he dumps into a fire..minutes later (and he never refills it if you watch) he's drinking from it as though its atleast half full.
