Reserve A Day

Researching and writing content for your blog or blogs (yes, some of you suffer from blog-itis) can be challenging especially if you post daily. My best tactic to accomplishing daily posts is setting aside a couple days a week devoted strictly to writing. If I’m lucky, I’ve got 10 blog posts under my belt ready to go or be re-read the next day to catch mistakes. There have been many times where I’ve gotten up the next morning to read a post I’ve written the night before to be embarrassed at the draft.

In addition, having a backlog of posts will provide a nice cushion whenever you get writers block or unexpected surprises occur…or maybe you just need that extra bit of time to promote your blog. I have a couple other blogs and at times get explosive responses or requests from companies to discuss the site and such. It helps to have some padding so that I can work other projects that suddenly demand more of my time.

If your writing schedule becomes routine, you may find it easier to enter your writing mode. A blog called Daily Writing Tips offers some great advice to keep creative juices flowing and pushing through writers block.

Preparing a week worth of posts can alleviate some stress from maintaining a site and give you some freedom to explore additional promotional avenues, do some research or enjoy some pleasurable reading online.

I completely agree with you, I usually write my posts while at work when I need some break. Usually the later half of the week I have 3-4 topics and drafts ready which I work on over the weekend, and post them over the next week. It also helps me make them more qualitative as you so truly said.
Yes, I have pre-ordered for Deathly Hallows. So you too are a Harry Potter fan. Glad!

Thanks for your visit. Of late, I have been suffering from writing block ;-) and my mind is fill with another internet marketing project that I am having now. Can get away with it and been stuck on the progress.

You are right to have a cushion of Post to be ready to publish. Will follow that strategy once got through my project.
