What Do Eggs and Christmas Lights Have in Common?
Nothing much, other than starring in a filmed video of college students placing just about anything into a microwave to see the outcome.
Ah, the college days. I wonder if this is someone’s microwave or the schools? I was actually a little interested in what would happen to putting Christmas lights in the microwave…I was pleasantly surprised. Although, nothing I would do with my own microwave.
I also checked out the egg video out of curiosity – it was a had-to-see for me. I ended up being disappointed.
When I was a little wee one, about the age of 7, I decided after visiting the county fair that I wanted to have one of my own little chicks. I saw how the incubator worked, it only made perfect sense that a microwave would work the same way, right? So, once I got home, I placed an egg into the microwave and turned it on. I waited with anticipation that I was going to make my own cute yellow chick at home. Well, before my egg could hatch my grandmother walked in on me and quickly turned off the microwave (I was always up to something). I never re-attempted making my own chick, and now I’m sourly disappointed. No chick in the video. :P (I hope you know I’m joking….)
Anyways…there are plenty of other things the students decide to broil, melt and blowup in the microwave. Knock yourself out – Here’s the website.

i like how the christmas lights turned out. cheers! :D
Sad fact someone microwaved their baby last month. I think we should microwave HIM!
Nice post. I know I’m a tad off topic sorry. ;)
Oh my gosh…. I can never watch any cruel baby news on TV…it makes me soo sad and sick that anyone could do that to an innocent. :(
