If you love to write, think about writing for a few publications and get paid for each article accepted. You could earn a few hundred dollars per article depending on the company.
Here is a short list of websites that will pay for content:
- Associated Content – One of the fastest sites growing on the web. Publish articles, videos or images.
- Digital Journal – A very active site. If you get accepted as a Citizen Journalist you get share a piece of the Digital Journal revenue pie. I’ve been a Citizen Journalist of the site for about two months. To qualify you must submit samples of your work and the editor must approve. This is to weed out any plagiarism issues.
- Helium – This is another site I’ve been with for a couple of months. A great site to share your opinions, views and write about things you enjoy and get paid doing it.
- Now Public – A great site for taking the news in your neighborhood and making IT the news. You can use your camera phone to document live events and share them with readers.
- Newsforge – Pay could be as much as $100 to 300 depending on the article topic
